To meet the needs of growing operations we are looking for a Fund Administration trainee to join our team for a fixed term of 5 – 6 months (Jan – July 2025 or August – December 2025). You will be working in our Finance and Administration team. You are going to be supporting financial matters of Lifeline Ventures with tasks in fund administration and back office operations. You are expected to be a hands-on person with a can-do attitude and eager to grow professionally. In return, the job provides an excellent learning opportunity to deep dive into venture capital.
Description of duties
The intern works on duties such as:
- You act as a key user of our fund accounting and investor relations system.
- You will prepare capital calls, distributions, management fee calculations and waterfall allocations.
- You are supporting the valuation of portfolio investments and funds’ periodic net asset value calculation.
- Supporting in quarterly investor reports, selected regulatory reports and ad hoc reports to our investors and stakeholders.
- You are supporting portfolio company reporting and ensuring that Lifeline Ventures and its depositary has up-to-date portfolio company information such as transaction documentation, financial performance and cap tables.
- You keep our documentation in good order and update investor information as needed.
- You are responsible for conducting KYC questionnaires and making quality checks to the requested information.
- You make selected modeling projects to improve our quarterly follow-up, investor reporting etc.

Candidate requirements
The ideal candidate for the role has the following qualities
- Has studied finance, accounting and/or law
- Any fund management experience is considered a plus
- Previous track-record of managing financial tasks
- Fluent in using Excel in your work
- Fluent in written and spoken Finnish and English.

The salary for this position is 3000/month, on top of that you will have lunch benefits and access to top-tier occupational healthcare.
Our office is located in Punavuori, and we work in a hybrid setting with a minimum of 2-3 office days a week.
